5 ways to celebrate National Superhero Day

Have a superhero Tonie marathon

Grab their trusty Toniebox sidekick and embark on an epic listening journey with all their superhero Tonies. From Black Panther to Mr Incredible, let the adventures unfold as they binge-listen to their favourite heroic tales and tunes.

Suit up!

So, dust off those costumes or get creative with some DIY superhero gear. Whether they’re channelling the super senses of Spidey or the speed of Wonder Woman, dressing up as their favourite superhero is always a blast.

Listen to crime-busting PJ Masks, for free!

Fire up the mytonies app and assemble the ultimate superhero playlist for their Creative-Tonie. Join PJ Masks for the action-packed story of Catboy vs Robo-Cat. When danger calls, Catboy leaps to the rescue, but will he be able to save Greg and Amaya from the evil villain, Romeo? Assign the free PJ Masks story to their Creative-Tonie to find out!

Have a superhero scavenger hunt

Feeling adventurous? Why not set up an indoor superhero scavenger hunt? Gather your fellow crime-fighters to search for hidden treasures, and maybe even a few wicked villains.

Use the mytonies app to record the clues on their Creative-Tonie. They then pop their Creative-Tonie on the Toniebox, listen to the clue and fly off to find the treasures or villains! Once they’ve solved it, they can pop it back on for clue number two and so on.

Here’s some clues to get you started…

  1. Look high, look low, is it a plane? No, it’s what you use when it’s pouring with rain!

  2. After a busy day of fighting crime. You’ll need to go here to wash away the grime.

  3. Boom, pow, crash! What was that noise? Go to the place where you keep all your toys.

Spread some superhero love

Whether it’s donating to a charity shop or food bank, sharing with a friend, or simply spreading kindness wherever they go, being a superhero isn’t just about flashy powers – it’s about making the world a better place, one heroic deed at a time.

Before you go, try asking your kiddos this question: If you had one superpower, what would it be?

Amy’s favourite Tonie is Matilda. From a very young age, she was utterly obsessed with Matilda. She watched and read it so many times that she practically had the whole script memorised. As she grew older, she remained just like Matilda, a bookworm, a trickster, and a dreamer!
