Does my child need a night light?

Does my child need a night light?

The Sleepy Sheep Night Light can set the scene with its warm glow and enchanting melodies, almost like a bedtime friend that helps to soothe little ones to sleep and comfort them during the night. It’s made of soft-to-touch silicone material and the light works on and off the Toniebox.

For the littlest of babies

For newborns, it’s best to keep the room as dark as possible during the night, so dark in fact that you wouldn’t be able to see your hand in front of your face. The Sleepy Sheep Night Light is handy for those early days full of night feeds and nappy change. A portable night light is a life saver. Trust us, a stubbed toe from navigating in the dark is way more painful when you’re sleep deprived! This little night light has 4 dimmable brightness levels that will allow you to change, feed and settle your baby back to sleep without a hitch. It also lets you discreetly check in on your little snoozer without needing to turn the big bright lights on.

For the bigger toddlers

Then as your baby grows into a brave(ish) little toddler, the night light becomes their bedtime buddy. Use it in your bedtime routine to help them settle down and to give them some comfort if they wake up in the night. Plus, if they do wake up they’ll be able to see around their room and know they’re safe and sound, soothing any separation anxiety that might crop up in a pitch dark room. Not only that, did you know that our night light cleverly works like a Creative-Tonie? So you can record your own goodnight messages or soothing lullabies onto it. Hearing a familiar voice will help them snuggle up and drift off again too. It’s easy to swap between the pre-loaded Enchanted Lake bedtime melodies and your own creations on the mytonies app.

For the older snoozers

For older children, the portable night light is a bedtime buddy that can be carried along during those middle-of-the-night toilet trips so they can see where they’re going. It gives them courage and independence to use the toilet all by themselves, like a big kid. And you won’t have to worry about it running out of battery either as it glows for up to 240 hours from just one USB charge. Finally, as little snoozers get older they might not need their light on all through the night. That’s where the sleep timer comes in. You can set it for 30 minutes so once they’ve fallen asleep, the light fades off and they’ll stay cosy and snug in the land of nod aaaall night long.

Amy’s favourite Tonie is Matilda. From a very young age, she was utterly obsessed with Matilda. She watched and read it so many times that she practically had the whole script memorised. As she grew older, she remained just like Matilda, a bookworm, a trickster, and a dreamer!
