Freebies, anyone?

Let’s kick things off with everyone’s favourite word - free! Mytonies is the backstage pass to hours of audio for different ages and stages. The library is loaded with toe-tapping tunes, storytime, fun activities and sneak snippets of new Tonies.

How to add the free audio to their Creative-Tonie

  1. Tap ‘free’ at the bottom of the screen

  2. Choose your freebie and tap the cat head icon with the download arrow

  3. Choose the Creative-Tonie you’d like to assign the audio to

  4. Now it’s time to sync to the Toniebox - give one of the ears a three second squeeze or until the LED light flashes blue

Make your own

Has your little one ever dreamt of being a music maestro or storytelling sorcerer? Well the mytonies app is where they can practise and craft their own masterpiece. In the mytonies app is where the recording (the magic) happens, it’s so simple that kiddos can record and listen back to themselves independently. Here’s how to do it…

How to record and add to their Creative-Tonie

  1. Tap ‘record’ at the bottom of the screen

  2. Tap the microphone icon at the top of the screen

  3. The red circle will now pop up and you can begin recording

  4. Choose the Creative-Tonie you’d like to assign the audio to

  5. Now it’s time to sync to the Toniebox - give one of the ears a three second squeeze or until the LED light flashes blue

The family recorder

No matter where they might be, the whole family can record their own stories and songs onto the Creative-Tonie. So whether it's bedtime stories from Grandma, Dad-jokes (they're funny, you know they are), or goodnight kisses from Mum, it's simple for everyone to get involved.

Manage their Toniebox and Tonies

The mytonies app is the ultimate organiser for their Tonieboxes and Tonies - just a tap away. Tap the ‘Mine’ button in the mytonies app and you’ll be able to see all the Tonies and Tonieboxes they own in one handy spot. You can add more Tonieboxes and new content to their Creative-Tonies from here too.

Ideas from our friends

We know our fans have the best ideas, so let’s take a look at the super-smart ideas our friends of tonies® came up with.

Adam

It’s so simple to find which ones to play in the mytonies library that Adam assigns it to his Creative-Tonie aaaaaall by himself.

Adnan and Amani

She records herself singing songs and telling stories in Yoruba and asks them to repeat back words that they hear.

Ashton

Assigning these to his Creative-Tonie helps to improve his speech, in a super fun and interactive way.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn uses her Creative-Tonie to help with letter recognition. First, her mum wrote letters on post-it notes and scattered them around. Next, her mum recorded herself asking Brooklyn to find different letters.

Amy’s favourite Tonie is Matilda. From a very young age, she was utterly obsessed with Matilda. She watched and read it so many times that she practically had the whole script memorised. As she grew older, she remained just like Matilda, a bookworm, a trickster, and a dreamer!
