Yoga but with a twist
Who says yoga is just for grown-ups? You and your little ones can move, stretch and practise a bit of mindfulness together, with the free relaxing yoga session on the mytonies app. All you have to do is assign the free Grow-Ga audio to their Creative-Tonie, pop it on their Toniebox, aaaaaaand breathe.
Join the Burpee Bears
Grab the new Burpee Bears Tonie read by Joe Wicks, the Nation’s Favourite PE Teacher. Listen and follow along as Joe’s Bears dish out exercises for the whole family to share (including burpees of course). You can try 5 goes per exercise like high knees, mountain climbers and jumping jacks, and build up from there. Just 10 minutes of exercise on a regular basis can make all the difference, Joe Wicks says so! Are we ready? Are we steady? Are we getting up and going? Well… let’s go!
Build some healthy habits
Need some inspiration for munching on the good stuff? The Healthy Habits Tonie has your back. With a helping hand from the Tonies Coach Hippo, you and your kiddos can learn about nutritious nosh and get ideas on how to move your bodies together in a mindful and relaxing way.
Have a dance party
Turn your living room into a dance floor with the new Playtime & Action 2 Tonie! Shake a leg, wiggle those hips, and have a family dance-off that’ll make even Strictly Come Dancing jealous. To turn it into a hard full body workout, you could try holding your toddler while you dance. After a few songs, you’ll be breaking a sweat, guaranteed. Cardio has never been this fun!
Walk it out
Walking is an amazing and fairly easy way to get fit, you’ll be clocking up the miles before you know it. Pull on your trainers, load up the kiddies and head out on an adventure. You’ll get fit and your kids will love exploring the big wide world.
So, dust off those dancing shoes, grab your yoga mats, and let the family fitness begin. Here’s to a year of laughter, health and tons of high-fives! Note: If you’ve recently been pregnant or had an injury, do check in with your doctor to make sure your body is ready to go.
