Why the Toniebox is the best gift ever by real families

With countless different uses like turning chaotic bedtimes into dreamy routines and supercharging kids’ speech, we’re pretty certain the Toniebox will make an ever-lasting gift for parents too!

So, instead of us going on and on (and on and on!) about why the Toniebox is great, we’ve asked some of the families in our tonies® crew to tell you why they give tonies® five stars, over and over again. 

Meet Josh, Boden and mum Sam

Mum: “I’ve started to see Joshua using his Tonies to support his learning at school. He’s now in year two, learning about continents, oceans and sea animals, so the Nat Geo Whale and Penguin, which he received as gifts recently, have been helping him to learn all kinds of fascinating facts. And he’s added Rescues at Sea with Bobby the Sea Turtle to his wishlist for Christmas. 

He even came home with a Horrible Histories library book from school this week. So it just goes to show the deeper understanding he is able to gain from his school learning being complemented by using the Toniebox at home. As a parent, who wouldn’t want an educational gift, which to them is simply fun!

Meet Penny and mum Sophie

Mum: “I love that the Toniebox inspires her imagination. I hear her listening to stories and talking back to it, dreaming up even more tales for herself and I love that. I also record funny messages for her onto the Creative-Tonie, she loves it and it's really simple to do on the mytonies app.

Dad: “It’s his favourite toy! We are a family of readers and writers - we love stories. So the Toniebox and all its wonderful characters is a natural fit for Adam. He uses his Toniebox while travelling in the car or even on aeroplane journeys to keep him occupied and relaxed. We love this option as it doesn’t involve screens. Adam has regular hospital appointments and always takes his Toniebox, carry case and Tonies. He listens to help him stay entertained in the waiting room and to stay relaxed, calm and distracted during longer hospital admissions.”

Meet Remy and mum Amy

Mum: "Right at the top of Remy’s Christmas list every year is new Tonies. The Toniebox has been a fab addition to Remy’s development. He’s able to be completely independent when using it as it’s so simple and easy for little people to understand. Remy loves selecting new characters as a reward for good behaviour so it’s been a great tool to encourage positive reinforcement. 

The Creative-Tonie has to be one of our favourites though as it’s allowed us to record so much content for Remy including his favourite pop songs, routine instructions for him to follow, as well as allowing daddy to record bedtime stories for when he’s working nights and mummy’s stories just won’t cut it. 

Remy will be taking his Toniebox all the way to Turks and Caicos soon to keep him busy on the long flight and also give him some screen free time. We always recommend the Toniebox to all of Remy's friends."

Meet Coco and mum Michaela

Mum: “The Toniebox has really promoted her confidence and creativity. Coco loves singing along and dancing around when listening to her favourite songs on her Toniebox. She has used it daily for nearly three years now and I can see how much it has helped her develop as a person.”

Meet Diogo and mum Filipa

Diogo loves to use the Sleepy Sheep Night Light, not just for bedtime, but also when we are doing other activities like painting, he finds it calming. He loves to use the Encanto Tonie to dance and tease my partner whose name is Bruno!
