7 interesting ways the tonies® team are using the Toniebox this Christmas

Well, we’ve nominated seven of our team members to share their family traditions. Read on to steal some inspo from the people that know their stuff!
Meet Tova, our European Marketplace Director
Tova’s tradition: Christmas message from grandparents
Our Creative-Tonies work overtime at Christmas, recording heartwarming messages from Reuben and Millie's grandparents who live far away and can’t always join us for Christmas. It’s a great way of keeping them involved in the festivities and the kids’ faces when they listen is a gift in itself!
Meet Harry, our Growth Director
Harry’s tradition: Morning Christmas songs
Let’s face it - it’s not Christmas without the festive tunes. Every morning in the countdown to Christmas, we pop the Christmas Songs & Carols Tonie on the Toniebox and all have a sing-along and boogie to its 20 different songs. It’s like the radio at this time of year, just way better.
Meet Polly, our Audio Production Manager
Polly’s tradition: A message from Santa for Christmas Day morning
Along with leaving out mince pies, a carrot for the reindeer and a little sherry to help Santa on his merry way, we also leave out the Creative-Tonie for Santa to record a special message for our girls to listen to on Christmas Day morning. It’s really helped keep the magic alive, especially for our older one!
Meet Caroline, our Customer Experience Manager
Caroline’s tradition: Host a Christmas party
Every year we host a Christmas party for the kids and their friends, and we use the free content on the mytonies app for the party music. This year, the kids chose the Christmas Statues audio to assign onto their Creative-Tonie. They had the best time dancing along to their favourite Christmas songs and then striking a festive pose when the music stopped. I think we saw some reindeers and Christmas tree poses which were very funny!

Meet Amy, our Content Manager
Amy’s tradition: Practise nativity lines
Now this is parenting hack 101! Every year my cousin uses her son’s Creative-Tonie to get his nativity play rehearsals on the way. To help him practise, they record his lines onto the Creative-Tonie to listen back to. He loves it and it’s definitely helped him remember more on the day.
Meet Emma, our Senior Copywriter
Emma’s tradition: Helping with Christmas travel
We travel abroad every Christmas and the Toniebox always comes along with us for the ride. Not only for entertainment on the plane and familiarity while we're away, but it also provides loads of play time with their cousins because they’re fascinated by it! Giving us parents some quiet time to enjoy a baileys and mince pie!
Meet Lucia, our UK & IE General Manager
Lucia’s tradition: Keeping the morning routine with Today with tonies
With lots of festivities going on during this time of year, the normal routine can get all out of whack. The new Today with tonies Podcast Tonie has worked wonders for keeping my kids morning routine on track. They get so excited to listen to the new episode that they sit quietly for 10 minutes listening along, giving me time to get on with my morning tasks.
So there you have it, a sneak peek into how the tonies® team are getting the most out of their Toniebox and Tonies this Christmas. Whether it’s bridging the gap between loved ones, rehearsing for the nativity play, or rocking around the Christmas tree, the Toniebox takes this season to a whole new level!
