Ways to de-stress Christmas travel as a family

Make a list, check it twice

There’s lots to remember when going away and nothing’s worse than forgetting something important, like your Toniebox charger! Our tonietastic tip is to pack your essentials in the car the night before.

Get creative

Travelling somewhere new or keeping the destination a surprise? Pop some fun facts or hints on their Creative-Tonie for them to listen along to. It’s like the greatest treasure hunt ever! It’s easy to do - just head over to the mytonies app, hit record and then assign it to their Creative-Tonie.

“Are we there yet?”

Oh the art of distraction! Making sure you’re armed with all their favourite Tonies and headphones for long journeys will warn off that dreaded question of “are we there yet?”. If you’re reaaaaally cool and organised, why not snap up a few brand-shiny-new Tonies as a happy holibobs surprise.

Organised fun, yes that’s a thing!

Keep little ones’ snackeroos, Tonies and travel essentials close by with our Car Organiser. Headphones? We’ve got ‘em. USB chargers? Check! Listen & Play Bag to carry everything? Yes siree. Mess can be stressful, especially when you breaking your back rooting around on the floor for that fallen Tonie or snack they couldn’t possibly live without!

Breezy bedtimes

The Toniebox is the helping hand you need while away, even at the most tiresome of times. The Sleepy Sheep Night Light is also great for giving an unfamiliar room a familiar glow that’ll help put your little snoozer at ease.

Another one of our tonietastic tips is to not be afraid to defend naptime! It’s easy with the family around to let kiddie’s be handed around like pass the parcel. That may seem like a good deal in the short term, until you realise it’s been a full day with no naps and they’re more wired than you after your morning coffee.

So what’s our recommended Tonies for Christmas travel?

So, buckle up, pop on Tonies and let the Christmas adventures begin!

Amy’s favourite Tonie is Matilda. From a very young age, she was utterly obsessed with Matilda. She watched and read it so many times that she practically had the whole script memorised. As she grew older, she remained just like Matilda, a bookworm, a trickster, and a dreamer!
