The Toniebox is designed for independent play by children ages 3 and older. Younger children can also enjoy the Toniebox experience with proper adult supervision. In addition, you are able to filter content by age in our library to explore the content most appropriate for your little listener.

When you buy a Toniebox you’ll get a free Creative Tonie with 90 minutes of recordable space and the charging dock. You can also use our Bundler to buy a Toniebox and bundle of either three, five or seven Tonies.

The Toniebox is a completely safe and contained listening environment. There are no mics, cameras or ads. Once the Tonie is downloaded there is no need for a WiFi connection, your little listeners won’t accidentally stumble across something that is not age appropriate. It’s also completely portable and tumble-proof in ways that other smart speakers are not.

Yes, once the Toniebox has been set up and the Tonies downloaded (wait for the ‘ding’!) you won’t need WiFi. The exception to this is with our audio-drop Tonies which update with new content every day, for example the Podcast Tonie.
